Angola: Louisiana State Penitentiary & Museum
Located up Hwy. 66 approximately 22 miles north of St. Francisville, La. Visit the Angola Penitentiary Museum with exhibits on the fascinating history of this unique prison farm. Attend the wild and wooly prison rodeo every Sunday in October. Angola Arts & Craft Show & Sale in the Spring & Fall.

Port Hudson Museum & Interpretive Center

Port Hudson State Historic Site
Hike the six miles of well marked trails on this 899 acres of historic battlefield, last Confederate stronghold on the Mississippi and scene of a long and bloody siege. Along the trails you will find three observation towers, an elevated broadwalk over the breastworks in the Fort Desperate Area, a museum, a picnic area and restrooms. And of course there are creeks, ponds, flora, and plenty of wildlife.
Location just ten minutes south of St. Francisville, Louisiana on U.S. Highway 61.

WF Historical Society Information Center

West Feliciana Historical Society & Information Center
Located in the Old Hardware Store, circa 1896, the museum houses photographic exhibits, miniature re-created historic rooms, period clothing and flags of the area. Visitors can find information, brochures and directions. Admission is free. Open daily 9am-5pm.
